LED Light Stick #2

This was our second try with the light stick. I think these turned out better than the first batch.
Right as we were finishing up, a cop showed up wondering what we were doing. Apparently he had gotten a few calls about people up on top of the hill with "lightsabers."

LED Light Painting

My friend Scott made an awesome LED light stick that he could program to display images. I kept my shutter open for about 10 seconds while he walked through the screen with the stick flashing. This was kind of a trial run to see if it would work. We plan on doing it again with a better background, and when it isn't raining... but I still think the results turned out really cool.

Night Portraits

The other day I was able to take portraits of two of my best friends. Unfortunately, my tripod was malfunctioning so they didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but I think we still got some good ones. I like the concept, so I would love to try something like this again with a working tripod. :P

Soccer Highlight Videos

Lately I have been working on soccer highlight videos for some high school students who wanted reels for their college applications. It was fun filming sports on my 5D. Here is one of the reels.

Evening Drive

As we were driving home from the store, my little boy fell asleep. Instead of wake him up, my husband and I decided to keep driving around while we listened to our book and looked for photo ops. This is what we found.

Selph Clothing Company Shoot #2

The next shoot I did for Selph Clothing Co. was of some of the shirts they are featuring on their website (I'm told it will be up Nov. 5). I have never done a product shoot before, so it was good first experience.

I did a portrait shoot with Vicki Hutchings, the owner of Selph Clothing Company. She was really fun to work with and we got some good shots for the "About Me" page on her new website.
